ABOUT MODEST FASHION WEEKS
Modest Fashion Weeks by Think Fashion (MFW) is the pioneer of the famous modest fashion week concept, positioned as the leading global platform dedicated to showcasing the creativity, diversity, and innovation of modest fashion. Since its inception, MFW has revolutionized the modest fashion industry, offering a unique stage for designers, buyers, influencers, press, and modest fashion enthusiasts from around the world to showcase their talents and connect with an international audience. With events held in major fashion capitals, MFW brings modest fashion to the forefront of global fashion conversations.
OUR HISTORY
MFW debuted in Istanbul in 2016, receiving an overwhelming interest and making headlines worldwide. Following this success, MFW expanded globally and spread the magic of modest fashion across the world. With editions in cities like London (2017), Dubai (2017, 2019, 2021), Jakarta (2018), Amsterdam (2019), Riyadh (2022), and Istanbul (2016, 2024), MFW established itself as the leading event series in the modest fashion industry, hosting hundreds of designers, influencers, buyers, press, industry professionals, and modest fashion enthusiasts from all around the world and amassing a media reach of over 2 billion.
OUR VISION
The story of MFW began with a vision to “democratize the fashion industry”. Since then, we’ve been dedicated to changing the game for modest fashion by being the bridge between industry stakeholders. With values rooted in equality, inclusivity, and sustainability, our aim is to be the global platform where we celebrate the beauty of diversity and creativity while fostering long-term sustainable business relationships.
OUR CONCEPT
MFW operates on a unique traveling and hybrid concept, bringing the modest fashion movement to different parts of the world. Each MFW edition combines fashion shows, showrooms (formerly brand booths), and panels, offering a 360-degree experience of the modest fashion world. This multi-faceted approach allows MFW to transcend traditional runway shows and offer the participants more opportunities for networking, exposure, and collaboration while engaging with diverse markets and audiences.
